Cookie policy
Last updated: 21 Oct 2026, Version 2026-10-21-ads
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Testerloop always uses strictly necessary cookies, without which signing in, keeping your language and protecting the service against bots would not work. On the free plan we may show ads from Google AdSense; Google’s advertising cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Paid plans show no ads. We do not use analytics or social-media tracking cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-<project>-auth-token | Keeps you signed in (Supabase authentication session). May be split into numbered parts. | Strictly necessary, first party | Up to 400 days or until you sign out |
lang | Remembers the interface language you chose. | Functional, set on your request, first party | 1 year |
cookie_notice | Remembers that you saw the cookie notice. | Strictly necessary, first party | 1 year |
consent_ads | Stores your choice about advertising cookies. | Strictly necessary, first party | 180 days |
Advertising cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept, Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC) loads on free-plan pages and may set or read cookies and similar identifiers (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE) to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent ad fraud. Google acts as an independent controller for this data; see how Google uses advertising cookies. Without your consent no AdSense code loads and you see Testerloop’s own messages instead. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland may also see Google’s own consent message.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the website or in Settings → Privacy & data. Legal basis: explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1; GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
Third-party services
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs a privacy-preserving challenge on sign-in and some forms to tell humans from bots. It does not set advertising cookies.
- Lemon Squeezy checkout and customer portal open on Lemon Squeezy’s own domain and use their cookies under their own policy.
- Google sign-in opens on Google’s domain when you choose it.
Managing cookies
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and Testerloop will not work. For how we process personal data see the privacy policy.
